Delete your account and data

You can delete your account in the Katujahti app. This page also provides a deletion channel if you no longer have access to the app.

Fastest option: Katujahti → Settings → Community → Account → Delete account.

Delete the online account in the app

Open Katujahti.
Open Settings → Community → Account.
Choose Delete account and confirm.

The app starts deletion immediately and does not report success if any part of server-side deletion fails.

Delete account removes your online account and its data stored on Katujahti servers. The game and your progress remain on this device.

Online backup in an older version

Katujahti’s own online backup is no longer available from version 2.0. You can ask the controller to delete a backup previously stored on the server. Deleting your account also removes the server data associated with it.

Delete without the app

If Katujahti is no longer installed or you cannot access the account, email jussi.kallioniemi@radiant.fi with the subject Katujahti - account deletion. Include the account email address and whether you used Google or Apple sign-in. Where possible, send the request from the same address. Identity may be verified before deletion.

The request is handled without undue delay and normally within one month. If a request is exceptionally complex, you will be informed of any extension permitted by applicable data-protection law and the reason for it.

Local device data

Deleting the online account does not remove the game or progress stored on this device. Local data can be removed through the app's local reset or by deleting the app and its data from the device.

Required limited retention

If limited information must be retained for legal claims, legal obligations, security or abuse investigations, only what is necessary is retained and only for the required period. It is not used for marketing or profiling.

Deleting a Katujahti account does not delete files you have saved or phone backups managed by Apple or Google. Manage those in your chosen storage location and phone settings.
